New Release - Audi Q8 e-tron
The latest addition to the Audi electric range is the Audi Q8 e-tron. The Q8 e-tron replaces the original e-tron SUV and features a larger battery, major technology updates, tweaked styling and the new SQ8 e-tron.
Just like before the electric SUV is available in two body styles – SUV or Sportback.
The Q8 e-tron comes in four trim levels, Sport, S line, Black Edition and Vorsprung. All models get dual motors and all-wheel-drive as standard. The entry level 50 gets 340hp and the 55 version has 408hp.
The SQ8 e-tron has an additional electric motor giving it a total of 503hp.

Range
Perhaps most importantly is the addition of larger batteries allowing for more range. Although they are offered with the same motors, the Sportback model is more aerodynamic which means more miles. The entry-level Q8 e-tron 50 has a usable battery capacity of 89kWh battery which has up to 284 miles of range in the standard SUV and up to 295 miles in the Sportback versions.
The more powerful 55 and SQ8 e-tron has a usable battery capacity of 106kWh which gives a range of ups to 330 miles with a 55 models SUV and up to 343 in the Sportback. This is a huge increase from the circa 250 miles in the old e-tron 55.
As expected the more powerful SQ8 does see a drop in range with up to 284 miles in the SUV and 295 in the Sportback.
Interior
As expected with the interior of an Audi it is packed with gadgets! Like with the e-tron, there is a 10.1-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system alongside an 8.6-inch screen for climate control and driving modes. The Audi Virtual Cockpit, MMI Navigation, fully electrically adjustable and heated front seats come as standard.
Pricing for the Audi Q8 e-tron starts at £67,800 with deliveries expected for April 2023.
