The new Porsche Driver Experience, initially introduced with the Taycan, now takes its place. It focuses on optimizing the driver's experience by placing frequently used functions directly on or near the steering wheel. The automatic transmission selector has been relocated to the dashboard, making room in the new centre console for storage and an air conditioning controller.

 

The cockpit now boasts a fully digital 12.6-inch curved, freestanding instrument cluster. The central display is a high-resolution 12.3-inch screen, offering comprehensive control over various driving and comfort features, online navigation, and multimedia functions. An optional 10.9-inch passenger display is also available, allowing the passenger to control navigation and select media services, all with a special foil to ensure it doesn't distract the driver.

 

The Cayenne S has undergone a significant transformation, moving from a V6 to a V8 engine with a potent twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre powerhouse. This robust engine catapults both the Cayenne SUV and the Cayenne Coupe to 60mph in a mere 4.7 seconds, and it achieves an impressive top speed of 170 mph. On the other hand, the base Cayenne offers a refined three-litre V6 turbo engine, allowing it to reach a top speed of 154 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds.

 

The versatile six-cylinder engine serves as the foundation for the Cayenne E-Hybrid, which has now been paired with a new electric motor. A substantial boost in battery capacity, from 17.9kWh to 25.9kWh, translates to an extended electric-only range as per WLTP standards, potentially covering up to 60 miles, depending on the chosen equipment. Additionally, the introduction of a new 11kW onboard charger significantly reduces charging times.
