New Release - Mercedes-Benz GLC Class

Mercedes-Benz announced a new GLC Class, available only as a hybrid: either as a plug-in hybrid or a mild hybrid with 48-volt technology and an integrated stater-generator.

Mercedes-Benz state the new GLC is the most dynamic SUV they have ever built, it features a modern luxury design with a 6cm increase in body length and an interior full of new smart solutions. The GLC is at home on any terrain and its new rear-axle steering makes it even more manoeuvrable and safe.

The GLC features the latest generation of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system which is even more digital and intelligent with both the software and hardware having seen a major upgrade.  The two LCD screens in the driver and central display make it easy to control vehicle and comfort functions. The 12.3-inch screen in front of the driver appears to float freely and the 11.9-inch central display rises seamlessly from the centre console.

Mercedes has retained the GLCs predecessor’s looks. It has smoother surfacing and a refreshed front end with headlamps that connect directly to the new radiator grille which emphasises the width of the vehicle. The increase in length has increased the luggage capacity to 600 litres, a 50-litre increase from the previous model.
